Stay like a local & experience Woodstock, Oxfordshire from this fantastic two bedroom Cottage with views of Blenheim Palace lake and park.
Ideally located on the edge of Woodstock, just a 5 minute walk to the centre & also just a 2 minute walk from one of the many gates into the Park. It is the perfect location for those coming to visit Blenheim Palace, The Cotswolds, Oxford Airport, Weddings, Salon Privé, Soho Farmhouse and the city of Oxford.
The Space
The stylish cottage is ideal for a family or a couple looking to explore the local area.
The open plan living-dining room is the perfect space to relax after a day exploring. The living room area has a Smart TV and guests are able to access Netflix & Youtube. There is a dining table and seating for 4 guests.
The kitchen if fully equipped and has an Nespresso Coffee Machine. There is a washer/dryer, however there is no dishwasher.
The Cottage is spacious and light throughout. At the rear of the property there is a private patio. This is accessed via the living-dining room patio doors.
The patio has an outdoor dining table and chairs, and offers a peaceful space to sit out and look across the lake.
The master bedroom has a Super King size bed and the second bedroom has a king size bed. There is a large wardrobe on the shared landing for storage of clothing and luggage.
The family bathroom on the first floor has a shower over bath. There is also an additional WC on the ground floor.
There is parking for one large car at the front of the property or 2 very small cars. We must ensure that we do not block any of the neighbours.
The Neighbourhood
Woodstock is home to Blenheim Palace, an UNESCO World Heritage site, is just 5 minutes walk from your front door. Every year there are a wealth of events taking place including, Salon Privé, International Horse Trials, Nocturne Live, Blenheim Place Triathlon, Battle of the Proms Concert, Giffords Circus, Food Festivals, Christmas Fair & Illuminated Light trail and much more. The cottage is the perfect base for those working and attending the events.
London Oxford Airport is just a 10 minute drive from the cottage. Those taking courses, working or travelling to and from the airport will find the cottage the perfect base whilst being close to amenities, eateries and fantastic bus routes.
The Cotswolds is also on our doorstep. Take a tour out to the beautiful towns and villages, including Burford, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Camden, Broadway and many more.
Getting Around
There is a fantastic bus service running between Woodstock, the London Oxford (Kidlington) Airport, and Oxford City. The bus stop is on the main road by the Woodstock Coffee Shop, grab a coffee and keep an eye on the live bus times whilst you wait.
